LED industrial lamps and lighting - modernization
O ur client, SIEGENIA, is a company with an innovative and broad product portfolio including modern systems for windows, doors and comfort systems, i.e. systems based on Smart Home and energy savings. And for them, we carried out the modernization of lamps and LED lighting in the warehouse and parts. production. The most modern industrial LED lamps and controls produced by us were used. Thanks to the LED lighting we used in Kluczbork, implemented for Siegenia Aubi, the company experienced significant savings as well as an improvement in the quality of lighting.

hen
implementing LED lighting for Siegenia Aubi, 140 W High Bay LED lamps, Belus and Herbus BSL luminaires were used.
High Bay LED industrial lighting is ideal to replace existing, traditional light sources in industrial applications and in rooms above 4 m. High Bay LED lamps are also extremely effective and long-lasting, which allows for reduction of both maintenance costs and lighting use. The diodes used in High Bay LED are Philip Luxeon.
The hermetic Herbus fixture is a replacement for traditional fluorescent lamps with a power of 2x36W or 2x58W, which were, and sometimes still are, used in industry. LED luminaires of this type are intended for places where high light efficiency and low purchase costs are important. The LED lamp housing with a universal design has an IP66 tightness. Herbus LED luminaires can be used not only in warehouses or production halls, but also in farm buildings, technical rooms, passages and underground parking lots.

T he LED luminaires used in Siegenia Aubi were installed at a height of 11 m, and motion sensors were also used (detecting moving employees and forklifts). Thanks to the use of sensors in a given section, the light is lit at only 20% of the power.
Modernization summary
T hanks to the use of energy-saving LED lamps and sensors that "strengthened" the light only when it was really needed, lighting bills in warehouses and production decreased significantly. The demand for electricity in Siegenia Aubi in Kluczbork before the modernization was 15.84 kW ., after the modernization it is only 5.74 kW, thanks to which the current demand for electricity is 10.1 kW lower than before the modernization, which gives a cost reduction of 70%. This is a huge difference, and certainly such a saving would make many companies happy.
