T he OPAKOFARB company produces packaging for the chemical industry. It was established on the basis of the Packaging Production Department of the Kujawska Fabryka Farb i Lakierów "Nobiles" Włocławek, and in 1989 it became independent and transformed into "Opakofarb" Zakład Produkcji Opakowania Spółka z o. o. in Włocławek.

T o ensure that the LED lighting used in Opakofarb near Toruń and Łódź is as effective and energy-saving as possible and meets the customer's requirements, we used a line of Belus luminaires operating at an intensity ranging from 300 to 1000 lx and having an extremely important color rendering index at a high level of Ra90 (CRI90).

T he Ra index or CRI (Color Rending Index) is a color rendering index that characterizes a light source. It is expressed on a scale from 0 to 100, where 100 means the light that most closely reproduces sunlight. A light source with a CRI of 0 Ra is monochromatic light, i.e. of one color, with such light it is impossible to recognize the color of the illuminated object. A CRI of 100 is sunlight. A good color rendering index, combined with a pleasant color temperature of the light, provides the best light for most people. rest conditions. In the work environment, natural colors and the highest possible Ra are most often used. A good shade of light and high color reproduction make us feel better and our eyesight is less tired. In the case of this modernization, we used Ra 90 to best reproduce the colors on the prints for packaging, including paints.

B ELUS linear industrial luminaires are tight LED beams that were designed to illuminate production halls in high rooms. Their housing is made of high-quality aluminum alloy, which also serves as a heat sink, thanks to which the luminaire has the appropriate operating temperature of the LED diodes. Thanks to its properly constructed structure, the fixture is very durable. Belus industrial luminaires use linear LED modules with a length of 28 cm, thanks to which you can adjust the length of the luminaire and the amount of light emitted. appropriate to the specific task.

D uring the implementation of industrial LED luminaires, we met all customer requirements. Thanks to the use of linear industrial LED luminaires, the following was achieved:

• required intensity (Intensity from 300 to 1000 lux)
• appropriate color rendering index (CRI90)
• high-quality lighting safe for employees
• the ability to properly control print quality
  by detecting incorrect colors and checking the accuracy of prints and graphics quality.

Ourimplementation was very highly rated by the client. The aesthetics and standard of workmanship of the product and the entire implementation were taken into account.
